•  Our Health Science Cymru Conference 2025 was a huge success in Llandudno last week. The two-day event hosted diverse speakers sharing their invaluable insights, knowledge and expertise. Speakers covered a variety of essential topics that are fundamental to services right now. The focal point was sustainability of the NHS through various lenses of health science; including leadership, quality services, workforce and education, future technologies, economy and pharmaceuticals.

•  We are thrilled to be shortlisted for an NHS Wales Sustainability Award with our collaborative work with Cardiff and Vale University Health Board on increasing the number of general practice nurse placements in general practices across Wales. • We have developed a new Workforce Vacancy Dashboard to support informed decision-making around the NHS Wales workforce.
